Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site. The site has not been audited by an outside accessibility specialist, so we do not claim full conformance. We check pages with automated tools, keyboard navigation, and browser accessibility settings as we build them.
What the site does
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
- Pages use semantic HTML with one main heading, landmark regions, and labelled navigation so screen readers can move around them.
- Text and interface colors meet at least the AA contrast ratio; a higher-contrast mode is available.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% in the browser without loss of content, and the layout works down to a 320-pixel-wide screen with no sideways scrolling.
- Animation is minimal, honors your system's reduced-motion setting, and can be switched off on the site.
- The Accessibility button in the lower right opens options for text size, higher contrast, reduced motion, and easier-to-read text. Your choices are saved in your browser only.
- Game plans print cleanly, with the full schedule and instructions and no navigation.
- The site works without JavaScript. Without it, the Accessibility button and the “play mode” for question banks are hidden, and all rules and questions remain readable as plain text.
Known limits
- The site is in English only.
- Schedules are presented as tables. On narrow screens the rows stack; a screen reader still announces each cell with its header.
- Decorative illustrations are hidden from assistive technology and carry no information.
